The PhD Programme GP3: Public Health is provided by Graduate School of Health (former Graduate School of Health Sciences) at Aarhus University.

 

 

 

Public Health Science focuses on occurrence, distribution and causes and consequences of diseases in the population. It also includes the study of preventive and rehabilitating efforts, and organisation and function of health service.

 

Public Health Science is a broad, interdisciplinary field with an interface to other areas of health science, including biomedical and clinical research. Health Science includes specialised disciplines, based on epidemiological, statistical, biomedical, physicalchemical, psychological, social science, and human research methods.
