The program is strongly focused on research and is characterized by a wide range of different special lectures, seminars, and courses and research internships from. First, basic methods skills are taught in a lecture and laboratory courses in several field of bioanalysis. Two research internships with laboratory seminars form the core of the education major in biochemistry, with the students individually in small workgroups supervised work on a current research project and report their findings in a final presentation. Through active participation in literary seminars, they should learn to judge papers in journals competently and critically.
The two minor subjects cover the fields of chemistry and molecular biology. The field of chemistry ensures that the students deepen their skills acquired in the bachelor's program in organic chemistry and thus bear its training of the importance of this subject for biochemistry bill. This is complemented by the selectable events and physical chemistry Bioinorganic.
