Description

Biomedical science is a new interdisciplinary field that combines the content and questions of experimental medicine with the methods of molecular biology and cell biology. It focuses on the molecular and cell biological basis of life and its pathological changes.

The three-semester postgraduate Master of Science degree is an interdisciplinary program involving the faculties of biology, medicine, physics, chemistry and mathematics. The MSc in Biomedicine is primarily intended to train students for biomedical research. With the award of the degree of Master of Science students will have acquired an internationally acknowledged level of training in professional practice and relevant knowledge and skills.
