Negotiation Skills Back
A successful negotiation gives both you and your opposite number a good opportunity to create and maintain good relations. It requires of each party that they argue for their own ideas and solutions, but also show how they can adapt to incorporate the wishes and goals of others. Insight into your own and others' behavior and how you can use this in a negotiation situation is a critical success factor. With the training and knowledge gained in the negotiation skills course, you will be given the opportunity to avoid relational pitfalls whilst satisfying the needs of your counterpart.
For two days, we spend time identifying established and successful ways to succeed in your negotiations. We go through how best to plan and conduct a negotiation hearing. With the right technology, we learn to deal with deadlocks and how to move forward.
We also look at the different negotiating styles, characteristics and behaviours and learn to use these in good negotiation skills. The course is practically and personally oriented and provides important individual feedback.
Some time before your course, you will be asked to make a self-assessment analysis as the basis for discussion and exercises during the course. The analysis also serves as an important tool for you to have after the training. The analysis gives you a proven and clear picture of your strong qualities in negotiation and development areas.
After the course in negotiation skills, you will also participate in an extra half-day course with a choice of when you take it and what you focus on.
